The Michigan Masonry Network was developed with the goal of matching quality conscious Michigan Masonry Contractors with Michigan homeowners. After years in the Masonry construction and masonry repair industry, our members have a vast knowledge of all things brick, block, and stone. With the change in advertising trends from traditional yellow pages, television, and print advertising to the internet marketing, it was determined that the formation of the Michigan Masonry Network only made sense. We realize that there are several lead referral companies out there, so why use the Michigan Masonry Network? This site has been built by Michigan bricklayers for Michigan bricklayers and home owners. Our founding member Mark Maupin spent 15 years laying brick in the Michigan masonry restoration field. In 2008 with the help of some computer savvy friends he built his first masonry repair website. Within a few years the site had dramatically increased his sales volume. Soon Mark found himself overwhelmed. He had chosen to lay brick because he loved working with his hands and building, but then he found himself on the phone all day. Soon customers began to get upset because Mark could not keep up, and was not able to return calls fast enough. All Mark wanted was to lay brick, and work with his hands, he had no interest in running a large company or answering calls all day, or in hiring salesman and more bricklayers.
Overwhelmed Mark began turning to his friends. He started collecting the homeowner and job information and passing them on to his friends and other masons he had built a relationship with in his 15 years in the field. Soon those bricklayers began sharing information and more contacts, thus beginning the birth of the Michigan Masonry Network.
